The Karkariya's celebration of the Mawlid in newspapers around the world

Every year, Muslims, and especially those walking a Path of spiritual education, look forward to the Mawlid an-Nabawi Sharif, the celebration of the birth of the Prophet, prayer and peace be upon him.

Within the Karkariya Sufi Way, it is an event of primary importance, since it is the occasion for the disciple to renew his commitment. So every year, on the eve of the 12th of the (Hijri) month of Rabi‘ al-Awwal, a celebration is held to which Karkari disciples from all over the world are invited, as well as anyone wishing to celebrate the Mawlid. The inhabitants of the region, imams, scholars and officials are all invited to celebrate with the disciples the birth of the Prophet, prayer and peace be upon him.

Among the guests are also many journalists wishing to cover this sacred event.

Praise be to God, 2021 saw an easing of the health measures against Covid-19, which allowed the Karkariya zawiya in Morocco to hold an evening commemorating his birth, prayer and peace be upon him.
