The inhabitants of the village of Nanakar celebrated this week the inauguration of their newly built primary school. The institution was given to them by Mawlana Shaykh Mohamed Faouzi al-Karkari (may Allah sanctify his secret) and his disciples. The Ghanaian disciples, who supervised the construction, led the opening ceremony in the presence of the teaching staff, the pupils and their parents. These Karkaris shared with the local people the Shaykh's full commitment and his will to take part in the struggle for access to education for all.

Here are a few photos of the opening ceremony.
