The Karkari disciples in Togo have undertaken a third humanitarian initiative. As part of the operation “Give Me Back My Sight”, several people benefited from cataract surgery in Sokodé, a Togolese town in the centre of the country, considered the country’s second city, with a population of about 118,852.

The beneficiaries of the operation were all happy to regain normal sight. They also wished to express their warm thanks to the Karkariya Sufi Order and to its Shaykh, Sidi Mohamed Faouzi Al Karkari, for the education and the human values he instils in his disciples.

The Association for Development and Fraternity of Togo, partner in this operation, wished, in the person of its president, to thank the Shaykh of the Karkariya Sufi Order in Morocco, “a brother country and a sharifian kingdom whose African leadership no longer needs to be demonstrated under the reign of His Majesty Mohammed VI, may God assist him”.
