Humanitarian initiative by the Karkariya in Nepal

The humanitarian and charitable initiatives of the Karkariya Sufi Order continue around the world, despite a hostile pandemic climate.

After humanitarian operations carried out in countries such as Senegal, Togo and the Philippines, the aid campaign now continues in Nepal.

On Monday 1 June 2020, the disciples of the Karkariya Sufi Order in Nepal distributed large bags of foodstuffs in the locality of Bara, about a hundred kilometres from the capital Kathmandu. These bags of provisions will allow the beneficiary families to feed their members for a month. The news brought joy to the inhabitants of this Nepalese town.

This initiative of the Karkariya Sufi Order touched the inhabitants of this impoverished village so deeply that they turned towards the qibla and prayed for His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him. They also expressed their gratitude to the Shaykh of the Tariqa, whose mother zawiya is in Al-Arouit, near the city of Nador in Morocco.

As a reminder, this initiative, like all similar ones undertaken almost everywhere in the world, forms part of the educational and spiritual path of the disciples of the Karkariya Way, one of whose spiritual foundations is love of one’s neighbour.
