March 2019
On 2 March 2019, all the disciples of the Karkariya in France were allowed to organise an event entitled: Meeting in Light. “In Light” rightly so, because, on top of a meeting with guaranteed success, Shaykh Mohamed Faouzi Al Karkari (may Allah sanctify his secret) had planned a trip to France during the same period and thus only made the day more beautiful. The hall, packed with men and women, bears witness to the success of the meeting.

All the fuqara were called on to prepare this small hall surrounded by a garden and a car park, in the Paris region, at La Courneuve. We will not fail to thank the wife of a disciple who prepared the petits fours that were handed out during the event.
The Shaykh’s welcome was discreet and marked the beginning of the meeting. It opened with the afternoon prayer (‘asr) in a group and the call to prayer by the disciple Aissam.
The event was built mainly around a question-and-answer session with the Shaykh. Each answer of the Shaykh was translated by the disciple Suhayl and recorded on video, to the great delight of those who were absent.
Sunset and the prayer that follows it closed the session with the Shaykh. The obligatory salat must always be accompanied by the prayer on the Prophet, and no situation is an exception. It is one of the rules of the Path, like kissing one another’s hands.
After the wird in a group, to bring the meeting definitively to a close, a few chanted poems made the spiritual state of the heart overflow into the body.
