Ghanaian Karkari disciples bring joy to the orphans of Dave village

The expressions of joy during the days of Eid for Muslims differ according to custom and to what faith nourishes hearts with. But the main expressions of this joy remain family visits and the strengthening of ties of kinship.
This year, with the Covid-19 lockdown, people suffered from certain behavioural problems, notably because of social differences and because those confined were obliged to live alongside the same people. To remedy this, the Karkari disciples confined at home, following the teachings of Sidi Shaykh Mohamed Faouzi Al Karkari, may Allah sanctify his secret, took care to organise dhikr gatherings on social networks, in particular through Facebook live. The purpose of these gatherings was to draw closer to Allah and not to suffer the psychological impact of this pandemic.
And with the arrival of Eid, things were not gentle for some, especially the fragile, for whom any kind of psychological support becomes necessary, even vital. The example here is that of the residents of the orphanage of Dave, a village near Ho, a city in south-eastern Ghana close to the border with the Republic of Togo. And it is into the hearts of these orphans that the Ghanaian Karkari disciples brought joy on this day of Eid. On Friday 31 July 2020, a few Karkari disciples from Ghana visited this orphanage and distributed new clothes there; this brought enormous joy to the children, for whom a festival is above all new clothes.

At the end of the event, the heads of the orphanage expressed their warm thanks to the Karkariya Sufi Order and to Sidi Shaykh Mohamed Faouzi Al Karkari, may Allah sanctify his secret.
